美術手帖 ✕ VOLVO ART PROJECT 第8弾 田附 勝『スウェーデン／Sverige 』

田附勝は東北をモチーフとした作品を発表してきた写真家です。2017年11月に開催した「美術手帖×VOLVO ART PROJECT」第1弾でも、東北の人・文化・自然を撮った写真集『kuragari』の写真作品を紹介しています。その彼が今夏、ボルボ発祥の国スウェーデンをめぐる旅をしました。 この度の展示企画では、田附勝が撮り下ろした写真作品をスタジオ内に展示します。彼が旅の中で出会い、拾い上げたスウェーデンを、スウェーデンの自然をコンセプトにするボルボ店内に展開するというものです。

2. 2019年カレンダー展示

今回撮り下ろされた写真は2019年度版カレンダー「VOLVO カレンダー」として制作され、写真は2019年の1年間を通して、その月の写真がボルボ スタジオ 青山に展示されます。 ※会期中、毎日先着5名様に、2019年ボルボ・カレンダーをプレゼント。ご希望の方はボルボ スタジオ 青山にてスタッフにお問合せください。

3. アートブック刊行

田附勝が撮り下ろした写真に、撮影に同行した編集者・田尾の言葉を加えたフォトエッセイをアートブックとして販売します。

■アーティストプロフィール

田附勝｜Masaru Tatsuki

1974年富山県生まれ。1998年フリーランスとして活動開始。 2007年に写真集『DECOTORA』を刊行。2011年に刊行した『東北』で第37回木村伊兵衛賞を受賞。その後、震災後の鹿猟を撮影した『その血はまだ赤いのか』、夜の山の闇に向かい撮影した『kuragari』、震災後の一度を最後に鹿猟を辞めた猟師の記録『おわり。』、八戸市の依頼により浜の暮らしを撮影した『魚人 FISH-MAN』がある。

Art handbook x Volvo ART PROJECT Part 8 Takekatsu TADA ‘Sweden/Sverige’

As the 8th stage of the “Art handbook × Volvo Art Project” exhibition “Sweden/Sverige” by photographer Masaru Tatsuki will be held from December 8 to 16th at Volvo Studio Aoyama.

Tazukekatsu is a photographer who has presented works with a motif of Tohoku. In the first series of the “Art handbook × Volvo Art Project” held in November 2017, we introduced the photographs of ‘kuragari’ a collection of photographs of people, culture and nature in the Tohoku region. This summer he traveled around Sweden, the birthplace of Volvo. In this exhibition plan, the photo works taken by Masaru Tatsuki will be exhibited in the studio. He found Sweden on a trip, picked it up, and opened a Volvo store with the concept of Swedish nature.

2.2019 calendar exhibition

The photographs taken this time will be produced as a calendar for 2019 “Volvo calendar” and photographs from that month will be displayed throughout the year 2019 in the Volvo Studio Aoyama. * The first 5 people to receive a Volvo calendar in 2019 during the exhibition. Please contact our staff at Volvo Studio Aoyama if you would like.

3.publication of art book

The photo essay with the words of Tao, the editor who accompanied the shooting, will be sold as an art book.

■ Artist Profile
Masaru Tatsuki

Born in Toyama Prefecture in 1974. Started working as a freelancer in 1998. In 2007, he published a collection of his photographs, ‘DECOTORA’. In 2011, he was awarded the 37 Ihei KIMURA prize for his book ‘Tohoku’. Later, he produced the following films: ‘Is the blood still red?’ which took pictures of deer hunting after the earthquake disaster, ‘kuragari’ which took pictures in the night mountain darkness, ‘That’s it.’ which recorded the life of a hunter who quit deer hunting after the earthquake disaster for the last time, and ‘Uojin FISH-MAN’ which took pictures of beachside life at the request of Hachinohe City.
